KPAOS are proud to support both local and national charities that have helped members and friends and family. Recent nominated charities include Asthma UK, Heart Link and 2010's charity of choice, the Alzheimer's Society.

KPAOS members have also taken part and are due to take part in several local charity fundraising performances. Following on from the successful Ruby Rainbows concert in 2007 (featured on this website) KPAOS members also took part in Applause which again saw a tour of the county's theatres putting on a performance to raise money for the Lord Mayor's charity The Special Olympics in Leicester. Another chance to see KPAOS members will be in the forthcoming show 'Memories' on the 9th May 2010 at Athena in Leicester. The show features performances of classic musical theatre excerpts including 'Me and My Girl', 'Jolson' and '42nd Street'. All monies raised will go to the Alzheimer's Society and promises to be an evening for all to enjoy and help support this very worthy cause.
